AmeriCAN Values

From what I hear a lot of our excess food is now being used as a gasoline substitute. Well, the beneficiaries of these cans of vegetable oil (other picture coming soon) would be unhappy to hear that. They are lucky here, they won't starve without assistance. However, I am sure they will notice if we no longer give as much aid as we had. Por ejemplo, the tractor that was donated to my town was from Iran. Where is John Deere?

Don't get me started on biofuels! They are more energy intensive to produce than petroleum-based fuels. But how can farmers not sell their crops for biofuel production when they get so many tax breaks and are trying to make a living too. I mean, it’s as absurd as ‘clean’ coal!

Well, bad government policy is no excuse for imorality. Food is for stomachs, not gas tanks. Did you ever get NASCAR to become carbon neutral? My friend and I were wondering what is the carbon footprint of flying on a full commercial airliner compared with the driving the same distance?
