My favorite person in the Peace Corps office and the nicest person in Bolivia, Marlen, and me in my town outside of a house I wanted to move into, but it didn't work out. This is the new town that I am drilling in. I am finally getting work done again.
My boss Tim proved that he is Bolivian by getting the Land Rover stuck after visitng Villa Esperanza.

Hey Jorge -you're looking pretty skinny. And total hot. Aye caramba!!
way to hold down that truck, you don't want those damn things floating away!
Thanks Kristin, sorry for telling you to shoot your dog. Not because I think you shouldn't, but because it made you mad.
And Justin, you'd be surprised how light those trucks are up here. As a man, and therefore a scientist, I'm sure that you understand that the further away from the center of the earth the less of an effect its gravity holds on us. This picture was taken at about 13,000 feet. Add to that the fact that it's made using space age Japanese technology and it's like golfing on the moon. It could get away at any time. Even though it was stuck and we spent an hour in the muck digging it out, it's a good thing I was there just in case.
why couldn't you move into that house?
